About

I am an illustrator and comic artist born and raised in the Bay Area, now living in Tokyo.

I Graduated from California College of the Arts in 2013, received my MFA from Tokyo Zokei University in 2019 and my PhD from Tokyo Zokei University in 2022.

My debut graphic novel, Space Story, was published in July 2022 through West Margin Press and represented by Matt Belford though Tobias Literary Agency.

My work focuses on atmosphere, feelings , and the experience of growing up LGBT.

I use color and bodily expression to create a narrative about emotional experiences, while maintaining simple and confident linework.
